Notes from your Director on Monday night

Chris - good job miming the bourbon
Miles - anticipate entrance in Sorry-Grateful
Sam - don't pause too much in S-G
Clarence - You nailed S-G last night! well done.
Drew and Izzy - wait for Sam to finish singing to roll up rug
Shumani and Hunter - Can announcement of divorce be more awkward than happy? not working
Miles - don't lay on audience feet and stay in scene (continue to listen)
All of stoned scene people - stay in your light
Drive a Person Crazy ladies - memorize where you stand on the floor pattern for spot
Hailey - good energy in 100 people, continue to think of meaning behind each line of song
Chris - pick up the block rather than scoot it out
Hailey - less weird bouncies while waiting for answer (use your eyes instead)
Fiona - change line to "the toast AND I blew the toast"
Nickey - don't mime note writing, just secretly get it out and place it
look over marriage scene lines, please
Nickey - idea about musicians to music should hit you in the moment
Chris - like unbuttoning jacket for Marry Me, keep it (good job hitting your consonants more too)
Sophia and Clarence - enter earlier on Marry me
Ryan and Katie - enter slowly and come from USR
Truett - ask jim if he has any period shoes for you
Chris - store the pot papers in the bag when you put them into your pocket
Hailey - Face SL at very end of 100 people so more audience can hear you

Ryan - don't kick Katie's face (kick lower)
Chris - great job on monologue
Clarence - exit counter clockwise around Chris and Zofia after the HIGAG reprise
Chris - don't put on shoes again until she's closer to leaving
Zofia - liked you having to search for the scarf in the covers
Hunter and Shumani - set earlier for scene out on terrace
Hailey - burting through feels awkward, can you awkwardly see something and sneak through?
Shumani - I could hear you tonight! much better
Hunter - be excited about life (beatnik style) and vary your tone and pitch more
Sophia - hit "he's not what you'd CALL"
Ryan and Katie - have quiet convo in bar (aim for realism) don't just bury face when she yells at you
Chris - vary your pitch and tone when speaking (esp when drunk at the end)
Chris - stagger before "drunk out tonight" line
Chris - you can overlap their lines to stay with music at end

All - great work! keep the energy up. the show is looking really good and sounding great too!
